OK, but just for one beer..

The evolution of Shattered Dreams has gone from Funnels to sipping. I have no problem with it. It was excellent that we all went out, even if it was "just for one".. I am not a huge fan of the hangover but as I always said, if i need to be hung over, let it be from a stellar Shattered DreamsVictory and last night, that's what it was!!!

 

There is a term in Costa Rica called PURA VIDA

 

"Pura vida"--a catchall phrase that means "the good life"--because when you're in Costa Rica, you really are living.

 

After that Shattered Dreams victory last night, we all should be Pura Vida!!!!!!

 

That was a good team with a solid winning record. We came to play, kept our heads in the game during bases loaded jams, a few bad throws and some up and down offense... We were focussed and determined. Our offense became a bit stagnant after the 2nd inning but because we stayed focussed in the field, the cushion we got in the first inning was more than enough. We should try to go to the cages next week though. Still, a tremendous game!!!!!

The two gator winners: Will and Flat

 

I have been giving Will a hard time for the past few weeks but he shut me up last night. He showed up early, got some practice in before the game and played great. Setting the table with 2 run scoring walks and providing the key defensive plays in the game. He had 2 great plays in the outfield that will certainly  be in the highlight reel at the end of the season.

 

Flat was hitting the ball like an animal in Batting practice and continued with it right into the game. A monster shot over the fense in the first inning. Also played a solid 3rd base last night also making a highlight reel play for the end of the season. Good job guys..

 

Perles kept us in the game the whole time... Great job. Forced ground outs, short pop outs, and struck a player out. Also helping the cause with a 2 rbi shot in the first inning. Well done..

 

Jon, Robbie, Jerry. - great defense and solid offense... Jon played a great SS last night and robbie once again proved how valuable he is to this time by playing a tremendous first base... Was that jose reyes with the stand up triple or Jerry Miller??

 

We have a bye week next week and then we enter the home strecth with 3 games left.. Last night was a great game and once again:
