last night

So I haven't sent out a highlights/recap newsletter in
the last couple of weeks because there really hasn't
been much that I have been to be excited or had to
talk about. BUT, last nights game opened my eyes and I
figured a recap was due. SO here goes,


- Big Mikes kick stop at 3rd base and then the cannon
throw to get the runner at first.
- Haik's scoop and the linedrive catch to end the
inning.
- There was one offensive highlight... It wasn't the
hit craig had, it was watching him run the bases. Is
that Kenny Lofton playing shortstop for us??????
- The 6-4-3 Double Play!!!  It is always talked about
and never really accomplished. There needs to be many
factors that work for this to happen. The hit, the
toss, the throw to first, and the catch.. NICE PLAY
ALL AROUND..


The game ball goes to Jeff "Flatline".... He pitched
practically a perfect game in softball. Forcing
pop-ups, inducing ground balls and STRIKING OUT 2 key
batters. Also adding an important 2 out rbi double in
the 6th. Good job...
In conclusion, losing still sucks.. Is it better that
we are constantly improving and starting get a real
feel to what we have to do to win. YES.... losing
still sucks though... SHATTERED DREAMS has been doing
exactly like what our name says.... Next time, it will
be the opposing teams though.... KEEP HEADS UP....
