Date with Destiny

Last night was a great example of when life dumps you with a bunch of lemons, rather than sit and sulk... MAKE LEMONADE... ITS DELICIOUS!!!!!

 

The night was beautiful, the adrenaline was flowing, a game had to be played. We were able to switch our moods 3 times from excitement, to disapointed, to angry and then to LETS WIN THIS GAME!!!!!! Everybody should feel great about how resiliant we were last night.

 

So, now we are where we said we were going to be at the beginning of the season. We are one game away from making all the talk a reality. We have a date with destiny and if the rain will allow it, the date is TONIGHT.

 

On to a brief recap.... I am going to be a bit biased right now in the recap but i have to mention right off the bat, the BOL..... The bottom of the lineup had 8 runs all together, a handful of rbi's and really set the table for the top of the line up... Buji, jerry and myself... Lets keep the BOL rolling...

 

On to the next part of the lineup... 1-2-3.  Will had probably his gaudiest line of his illustrious career. Craig and jeff both show the resiliancy and pop that we have all know to expect from them.. Way to Go.....

 

Down the line, the team played really great at times and a bit sluggish at times.. Thats what happens when you build an 11 run lead in a playoff game... The game ended up being a bit closer than I think we all would have like it to be but a win is a win and WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! we won...

 

Boooooj..... Avenging a loss he had earlier in the season... Way to go...

 

So, there was no elaborate celebration last night, there were no funnels... Everybody knows that the win last night just gave us the opportunity to be where want to be. I am optimistic the weather will hold out.. I only hope the fields are playable... Great game last night by all. Best Bars has no idea what they are about encounter...

 

Tonight, tonight...TONIGHT......... 9:00 PM 52nd and 11th.... the countdown has begun.
