In sports, there will always be better teams playing teams that are worse (thats why you have a line).. Obviously, the better teams are expected to win. Now, when you a have a REALLLLLY good team playing a bad team, you expect a pummeling.....

SHATTERED DREAMS FIRST MERCY RULE SHUT OUT.... 12-0

It was a stressful day waiting to see if the weather would hold up. Finally, we got confirmation that the game was on. Oh and mark my words, the game was ON. As the entire team was throwing the ball around awaiting the other team on beautiful Wards Island, Flatline uttered, "I am Feeling this tonight"...

He was not alone in that sentiment. The team played excellent. It could have been very easy to play the level of the competition. We have done it in the past. But not last night. We proved to everyone on that field that there is a powerful force in Mens III this year, and that force isShattered Dreams.

Lets Recap some highlights:

Offensively, the whole team was on. Whether you got on base or got out, the bats were hitting the ball hard. Craig had another stellar game to add to his resume. 5 rbi's, a HR and some other hits.. Rohin continued his hitting prowess going 2 for 3. On the season, he is 7 for 8. Impressive... Will upped his OBP with a 3-3 hitting bonanza... Flat pulled in some Rbi's... I could go on and on.. The team was feeling it, and it showed...

Pitching... hey, he is not called the Little Unit for nothing.. Buji shut Liquidnet down.. He basicly said that you guys have no right being on the same field with us. With the exception of a roller up the middle (which could have been counted as an error), I don't think this team had any other hits.... In one word, AWESOME....

Defense... The Outfield really stepped it up last night... Play after play... Ok, not so many plays came there but we still made some nice plays all around. Flat and Craig both had some nice plays and jerry and buji had more catches that Will and Selzer... Well done...

Shattered Dreams is on a roll right now.. There is chatter going on all around town of the powerhouse franchise.. Everybody loves Shattered Dreams.

My man craig collins didn't have to much action in the outfield last night, didn't have to much action with ladies at the next table, but got his game on and had plenty of action with the dude with the Burbery patches on his shoulders. Talking Shattered Dreams all night with him.

Brother Jimmy's was at its best last night... 8 strong made its way through 80 beers and plenty of spitballs. The highlight was watching collins hit craig right in the mouth with one.. Asked for a comment, The Big Stick said, "YUMMY"

It was a good night all around.. The team played great, the beers flowed and Monday can't come soon enough...

Friday night, We are all going out for some birthday celebrations.. It has turned into guys night out... I am hoping everyone brings their "A" game...
